Clinic, regulation, and data have to meet.

I am a physician working where clinical practice, regulation, and structured data have to come together.

Translation between worlds

As Senior Consultant for Pharma & Digital Health at Accurids, I help life-science organisations get medicinal-product and clinical-research data into a form that regulators and downstream systems can actually use. Typical work includes FDA-readiness, ISO IDMP, HL7 FHIR and CDISC, and semantic layers — including knowledge graphs — that connect clinical meaning to technical architecture.

Before that, at gematik, I worked on the medical-technical side of Germany’s national digital health infrastructure: the electronic patient record (ePA) in the national rollout, FHIR-based semantic standards in the telematics infrastructure, and programme work on the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

The through-line is translation. I sit between clinicians, regulators or ministries, and the people who build the systems. I am a licensed physician (Dr. med.), have coded medical content to SNOMED CT, LOINC and FHIR, completed a doctorate in medical informatics at RWTH Aachen, and spent time in psychiatric acute care.

Let’s talk.

Glad to discuss data readiness, interoperability, and roles where a physician who can work with standards is useful. Relocating to the Greater Munich area in Q4 2026.
